Parish News

All Saints Parish, formerly of Naperville, IL, has purchased a building on East Boughton Road in Bollingbrook, IL. They have moved in and begun renovations of the chapel and parish facilities. The Rev. John Hines is Rector of All Saints.

Church of the Atonement, Fountain Hills, AZ, is moving forward with its new church building. You can see a photo of the ongoing work at the www.anglicanpck.org website.

Synods

The 11th Synod of the Diocese of the Western States was held in Berkeley, California, on January 23-25, 2003. The Synod was concluded with a special commemorative High Mass celebrating the 25th anniversary of Archbishop Robert Sherwood Morse's consecration in Denver on January 28, 1978. The Synod was co-hosted by St. Joseph of Arimathea, Berkeley, and St. Peter's, Oakland; the Rev. George H. Clendenin, Rector.

The 4th Synod of the Diocese of the Southwestern States will be held in Carefree, Arizona, on May 22-24, 2003. Hosting the Synod will be Christ Church and its Rector, the Rev. Steven E. Dart.

The 11th Synod of the Diocese of the Eastern States will held May 8-10, 2003 at Anglican Church of the Resurrection, Ansonia, Connecticut. The Rev. Rocco Florenza is the host parish's Rector.

The 11th Synod of the Diocese of the Southern States will be held May 14-16, 2003 in Winchester, VA. St. Michael the Archangel parish and its Rector, the Rev. Canon David V. Wastie will host this Synod.
