• The Anglican Church of the Holy Cross, Omaha, NE, has recently purchased a beautiful new church building with the assistance of the Province of Christ the King Development Fund. After three weeks of remodeling work by members of the congregation, the first Mass in the new church building was on the fourth Sunday in Advent, December 23rd. Fr. Victor Novak, is rector of Holy Cross.
• Fr. Novak has also recently opened the new Church of St. Joseph of Arimathea in Lincoln, NE, with the help of the Provincial Development Fund.

Upcoming Synods

• The Synod of the Diocese of the Southwestern States will be held at the new Church of St. George, Las Vegas, NV, on Friday, March 8, 2002. The rector of the parish is Fr. Gordon Hines.
• The Synod of the Diocese of the Western States will meet at St. Luke's Church, Redding, CA, on Friday, May 10, 2002. Fr. Mathieu Bosschard is the rector.
• The Synod of the Diocese of the Southern States is on May 30, 2002, at St. George's Anglican Church, Durham, NC. The rector is Fr. John Upham.
• The Synod of the Diocese of the Eastern States will meet at the All Saints' Church, Naperville, IL, on Friday, June 14, 2002. Fr. John Hines is the rector of All Saints'.
