Ordinations and Appointments

  • Mr. Frank Brulc was ordained deacon on November 11, 2001, by Archbishop Morse in All Saints Anglican Church, Naperville, IL. Fr. John Hines preached at the ordination.
  • Mr. Daniel McGrath was ordained deacon on November 28, 2001, by Archbishop Morse in St. Joseph of Arimathea Chapel, Berkeley, CA. Fr. Paul Sterne preached at the ordination.
  • On January 19, 2002, at St. Martin of Tours in Concord, CA, Archbishop Morse ordained The Rev. Mr. Donald True and The Rev. Mr. Michael Mautner into the sacred priesthood. Fr. Charles Slagle was the preacher. Father True will be the new rector of St. Martin of Tours. Fr. Mautner will serve the greater Bay Area as a new priest.
  • The Rev. Mathieu Bosschart is the new rector of St. Luke's, Redding, CA. He replaces Bishop Robert F. Waggener, who now fills the office of Bishop Ordinary for the Diocese of the Southern States, and has become rector of the Church of St. Bede's, Birmingham, AL.
  • The Rev. Michael Bowhay has been called to be the new rector of St. Bartholomew's, Woodinville, WA. Fr. Daniel Leen, long time rector, is to retire on February 1, 2002.
  • The Rev. John E. Upham is the new rector of St. George's, Raleigh, NC.
  • The Rev. Stephen Petrica will be the new rector of St. Matthias, Arlington, VA.
  • The Rev. Jeffrey Smith is serving three churches St. Aidan's, Colorado Springs, CO; St. Barnabas, Ft. Collins, CO; and All Saints Church, Cheyenne, WY.
