Mite Boxes Further College Work

The desire of the Province of Christ the King for a foreign mission has always been a primary concern of our bishops. As Christians we must serve the needs of others. To meet only our own needs ignores the essence of the Gospel.

Today the greatest mission of the church is the college campus one of the most alienated and hostile elements of our society. Huge sections of their contemporary faculty, due to prejudice and ignorance, would seek to tear out Christian values by root and branch, thus eradicating the religious conscience of their students.

Please participate in the Lenten discipline of the mite box. Your parish clergy will make them available by Ash Wednesday. Proceeds support the new foreign missions of the Province of Christ the King America s college campuses.
