Fr. Paul Goodland, Rest In Peace

Fr. Paul F. Goodland, Vicar of the Church of the Atonement in Fountain Hills, Arizona, passed into eternal life at his summer home in Flagstaff on September 7, 2004, after a battle with cancer. Fr. Goodland was born on March 19, 1930, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Colorado and studied law at the University of Iowa before graduating from the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale in 1956. Ordained an Episcopal priest in 1956, he began his ministry in Esterville, Iowa. After joining the Province of Christ the King, he helped to establish the Church of the Atonement in Fountain Valley. Fr. Steven Dart, of Christ Church in Carefree, Arizona, offered the Requiem Mass for Fr. Goodland on September 11, 2004.
