Wisconsin Parish Obtains Church

The Anglican Church of the Apostles has purchased its first church building at 142 Lake Street, Pewaukee, WI, a suburb of Milwaukee. The parish had been meeting in Watertown, WI.

The church was built in 1897 as St. Bartho-lomew Episcopal Church and served that parish until 1995. The stone and brick building has 3,900 sq. ft. on two floors. It comes complete with oak pews, organ, sacristy, kitchen, tables and chairs, and original stained glass windows.

Father Charles Slagle serves as rector of the parish. Sunday Mass and Sermon begin at 11:00 a.m. with Church School.

The rector, wardens and vestry thank the Provincial Development Fund for its aid in the purchase of this beautiful house of worship. For more information, call 1-877-BCP-1928.
