In Memory: Deacon James G. Dwen Jr.

Deacon James Dwen passed into eternity on February 17th, 2004, at St. John's Medical Center, following heart surgery. He was 79 years of age. Formally an attorney for the Corps of Engineers, Dn. Dwen prepared for Holy Orders as he approached retirement.

For the last seventeen years he has served as Assisting Deacon at All Saints Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a constant and prayerful presence in the parish; a regular at weekday Masses; and until his infirmities forced him to curtail his activities, was an active participant in Sunday worship. He will be missed by Bishop Morrison, the parishioners of All Saints Pro-Cathedral, and by all his friends and colleagues throughout the Province.
