Advent 2003 Diocese of the Southern States Holds Synod The Diocese of the Southern States held a diocesan synod on October 2nd, at Holy Comforter parish in Montevallo, Alabama. The main focus of the synod was vocations, and three men were interviewed as candidates for the diaconate and accepted, while a fourth explored a possible vocation. Fr. William Wiygul, rector of Holy Comforter parish, was appointed Archdeacon for the diocese. |
