A working retreat for the clergy and postulants of the Diocese of the Eastern States was held from September 9th through the 11th at the Lourdes of Litchfield retreat center in Connecticut, led by Bishop Rocco Florenza, Ordinary of that diocese.

The Rev. Mr. Robert Fredrickson was ordained priest by the Rt. Rev. Rocco A. Florenza, at the Pro-Cathedral of the Resurrection in Ansonia, Connecticut, on the Feast of St. Luke, Saturday, October 18th; and has been assigned as vicar of the Church of the Ascension in Tolland, Connecticut.

In a fall tour through his diocese, Bishop Rocco Florenza visited Grace Church in Louisville, Kentucky, where he celebrated Mass and Confirmed; Holy Apostles in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, where he offered Mass and preached; and All Saints in Bolingbrook, Illinois, where the Bishop Confirmed and Dedicated a new church building.

Bishop Frederick Morrison celebrated Mass and Confirmed at Holy Cross parish in Oklahoma City on September 14th. He Dedicated the new Church of the Atonement in Fountain Hills, Arizona, on October 25th. The Bishop Confirmed 20 candidates from St. Nicholas and Christ Church parishes at St. Nicholas on October 26th

The restoration of St. Ann Chapel, 541 Melville Ave., Palo Alto, California, will be celebrated at 4:00 PM, on Sunday, November 23rd, with Choral Evensong.

Bruce Schultz and Rod Treat of All Saints Pro-Cathedral in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Martin Hope of St. George's in Las Vegas, Nevada, will be ordained to the permanent diaconate on Sunday, December 14th, at All Saints Pro-Cathedral in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
