March 2005 update - St. Athanasius Moves to Glen Allen

St. Athanasius Anglican Church in Ashland, Virginia, now has a church home, complete with a parish hall, thanks to the kindness of Mt. Hope Methodist Church. Established in the summer of 2003, by Fr. Charles Nalls of the parish of Christ the King in Washington, D.C., and Fr. Samuel Edwards of St. Mary the Virgin parish in Ft. Washington, Maryland, St. Athanasius had been meeting in a hotel conference room, but will now be sharing the Methodist church building. Sunday Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM, followed by Christian education. Archbishop Robert S. Morse spoke at the potluck supper at St. Athanasius on Tuesday evening, October 28th.
