From the Archbishop
May
2007
Dear Brethren:
Recently David Virtue published an article concerned my calling
a College of Bishops meeting to discuss my desire to retire after
almost thirty years. I want to concentrate on bringing our seminary
to the next stage in its development, as well as making a good transition
in the leadership of the Anglican Province of Christ the King.
Unfortunately, Mr. Virtue did not call me to check the story but
seemed to attempt to politicalize the event. He took it upon himself
to announce his leading candidates. The Anglican Province of Christ
the King has over the years refused to reduce the dignity of the
office of any Bishop to the level of contest. All four diocesan
Bishops are worthy of consideration.
With every good wish and blessing,

The Most Reverend Robert Sherwood Morse
